Professor Zdzisław Krasnodębski MEP

Vice-Chair of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), European Parliament

Sociologist, social philosopher, columnist. Professor at the University of Bremen, Germany. Member of the European Parliament for the European Conservatives and Reformists Group since 2014 (re-elected in 2019 in the constituency of Poznań/Wielkopolska) and former Vice-President of the European Parliament (2018-2019), currently serving as the first Vice-Chair of its Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE).

Professor Krasnodębski was the main EP rapporteur on the European Defence Fund (EDF) and one of the two co-rapporteurs on the European defence industry reinforcement through common procurement act (EDIRPA).
