Oleksandr Kamyshin

Alexander Kamyshin started his professional career as an auditor at KPMG, later he joined the analytical department of Dragon Asset Management.

In 2009, appointed General Director at Karlivka Machine-Building Plant.

In 2012 he became an investment manager at SCM Holdings, in 2018 - member of the Supervisory Board of Lemtrans (part of SCM).

Mr. Kamyshin left SCM in 2019 to become a managing partner of Fortior Capital.

On 11 August 2021 Alexander Kamyshin was appointed acting Chairman of the Board of state-owned Ukrainian Railways. He was appointed permanent Chairman of the Board in March 2022. Mr. Kamyshin gained world-wide recognition for keeping Ukrainian trains working during the beginning of fullscale russian invasion of Ukraine. He resigned as CEO late February 2023.

On 3 March 2023 he was appointed as an Advisor to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and on 21 March 2023 as Minister for Strategic Industries.
