About

Ivan Havryliuk was born on April 19, 1971. He is a native of the Ivanopil village in the Chudniv district of the Zhytomyr region.

LTG Havryliuk had served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine from August 1, 1988 to March 3, 2020 and has returned to service since February 24, 2022.

Education:

1992 - Sumy Higher Artillery Command School.

2004 - National Defence Academy of Ukraine (operational-tactical level).

2018 - National Defence University of Ukraine (operational-strategic level).

Assignments:

From 1992 to 2008 - worked his way up from platoon commander of a security and maintenance battalion to deputy chief of staff of the Missile and Artillery Department of the Army Corps.

From 2008 to 2013 - chief of staff of the Missile and Artillery Department of the Army Corps.

From 2013 to 2014 - chief of the Rear Services of the Army Corps Department.

From 2014 to 2015 - deputy chief of the Organizational and Planning Department of Rear Services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 2015 to 2018 - chief of the Rear Services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 2018 to 2020 - chief of the Main Logistics Directorate - deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In 2020 - transferred to the reserve.

From 2020 to 2022 - advisor to the Commander of Logistical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

February 24, 2022 - called up for military service during mobilization for a special period and appointed as chief of the Communications and Information Systems Department of the Logistical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From September 2022 to October 2023 - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

October 5, 2023 - appointed as Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
